Citizenship, Democracy & Partnerships

Last year, we helped 292 people volunteer and contribute their time to help their local community, and supported 85 to become actively involved in their community, taking a lead and using their influence as citizens.

We support local residents to become actively involved in their community, take the lead and use their influence as citizens to positively impact on the world around them. We provide volunteer opportunities and work in partnership with local groups and organisations to ensure an effective and joined-up approach to community development initiatives and projects across Rutherglen and Cambuslang.

We also deliver campaigns such as oral health and breast screening to increase awareness and education on a variety of health-related issues.
