Creating Hope makes me #healthynhappy
Healthy n Happy and CamGlen Radio are ‘Creating Hope’—a project dedicated to promoting positive mental health and suicide prevention through creative, engaging and impactful activities.
You can be a part of this vital movement that addresses local need in Cambuslang and Rutherglen - and can make a huge difference to you and the lives of those around you.
How Can You Get Involved?
Whether you enjoy coffee mornings, health walks, art therapy, or group exercise, we offer a wide range of amazing activities, for local CamGlen residents. Creating Hope in Our Community Event:
Join us on Tuesday 19 November, 10am-12pm, at Number 18, Rutherglen, to discuss mental health support in CamGlen. Connect, share experiences and explore how we can collectively improve mental well-being and suicide prevention. More info and register here
ASIST Workshop:
We're running a FREE 2 day ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) workshop on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 28 January 2025, 9am-5pm, at The Bothy, Cuningar Loop, Rutherglen. This skills building workshop prepares caregivers to provide suicide first aid interventions. Book your place here
Mental Health First Aid Workshop:
We're also running a Mental Health First Aid Workshop over 2 dates - Monday 10 and Monday 17 February 2025, 9.30am-5pm, at Number 18, Farmeloan Road, Rutherglen. Learn how to recognise symptoms of anxiety, depression and self-harm, promote recovery of good mental health and understand mental health issues and prevent crisis. Book here

Mental Health and Suicide First Aid
