Over the next 2 years, we will continue to deliver Creating Hope in Our Community, building on what we’ve learned so far, to better support our CamGlen community….
‘Wanna Talk’ bitesize workshops (2–2.5 hours) – to help people feel more confident having open conversations about mental health – ideal for those unable to attend longer training. For parents, residents, community groups, businesses and local organisations.
Scottish Mental Health First Aid (SMHFA) courses – around 2 per year, for more in-depth learning
Self-harm awareness training – with a focus on supporting young people and parents
ASIST training – support for delivering suicide intervention training.
We will deliver in-depth mental health training at various times during the year – suitable for local residents, community groups and organisations, businesses and public sector employees.
