Compass Carers

Our Compass Carers project works alongside existing carers’ services to help fill the gaps, making sure all unpaid carers can get the support they need. We’re here to support carers, help them connect with others, and guide them through every step of their caring journey.

Carers Conversation Cafes

These wonderful meet ups provide much needed time out in a safe space to chat with other carers, over a cuppa and cake. Just pop in, everyone is welcome!

First Monday of each month – 6pm-7.30pm – Teabay Café, Cambuslang

Last Tuesday of each month – 1pm-2:30pm – Eastfield Community Centre, Cambuslang

Monthly Sound Bath

These superb self-care sessions offer an hour of deep relaxation through calming instruments and soothing vibrations. A wonderful way to pause from your caring role.

A huge thank you to Angela at Serenity Sound for generously offering her beautiful services to support local carers and creating such a relaxing experience.

Second Wednesday of each month – 8pm-9pm, Eastfield Community Centre

Other Wellbeing Activities

To further support your self-care and relaxation, we provide a variety of wonderful wellbeing activities - including Carers’ journalling sessions, with a hot drink and bite to eat with others

We host a range of fun events throughout the year, including free play sessions for kids, days out, and cinema nights—with even more planned for this year!
