ASIST @ The Bothy – 2 Day Workshop

We are proud to facilitate ASIST – Applied Suicide Intervention Skills training, with Care and Connect Training and NHS Lanarkshire, at The Bothy in Rutherglen.

This 2-day interactive workshop in mental health and suicide first aid teaches participants to recognise when someone may be experiencing thoughts of suicide and how to work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. This is a fantastic course for anyone passionate about preventing suicide, looking to gain a better understanding of mental health, or wishing to know what to do in the event of a mental health crisis.

This training takes place on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 October from 9am – 5pm. Please note that attendance on both days is necessary to gain the certificate.

This course is free for people who live or work in the Cambuslang or Rutherglen areas. There is a fee of £150 for people not living or working in the CamGlen area, payable via debit/credit card on the day.
